the studios of WEFT, for our late-night
in-depth interview with the host of the Eclectic Seizure Radio Hour, which
is actually two hours long. William had some trouble with the ontological
issues involved in being both the host and one of the interviewees, but
we managed it with sound effects. We had a gig at the Jazz Café,
though for a while they werent going to let us in because of how poorly
we were dressed. Then, when we read our essays on-stage peering into the
dimly lit ambiance, a saxophonist we had never met before played mournful
jazz, as Dirk deconstructed Adrienne Rich in toe-tapping rhythm.
